Real bees, real honey, real expensive! “In a world of artificial this and manufactured that, The Honey Store is a wonderful demonstration of the things that come from nature.”

PRODUCTS: Nobody ever said nature's bounty was cheap, though. Twelve ounces of this stuff costs $3.25. Sounds reasonable, until you factor in that you need to pay shipping and handling when you could get it at the grocery store for the same price. If you buy a larger package, you can save a bit of money: a five pound jug is $11.25. If you REALLY want the savings, though, aim for bulk. You can buy a fifty-five gallon barrel or three thousand POUND plastic tote of honey. They don't show the prices, presumably because it's so darn outrageous.

VERDICT: Who would want three thousand pounds of honey? Maybe if you work for a grocery store or large restaurant chain it would be reasonable, but why would the average Joe (or average Jane) want that much honey? Perhaps they're toting the Honey Diet. Drink honey all day and lose weight. Most people prefer the “see-food” diet, though (see food and eat it), which results in a lot of overweight Americans. Starve yourself and get thin, or eat everything and get fat? You just can't win.
